Admissions Requirements

Before entering the Seminary a candidate must complete an application of general information, must obtain his pastor’s recommendation, have a current medical examination; and a psychological evaluation. The pastor, physician and psychologist should mail their information directly to the Vocations Office. This information is then forwarded to the bishop for evaluation and a decision on acceptance.

Undergraduate students desiring admission to the Maronite Seminary should have graduated from high school and be above average in their studies. They must provide their high school transcript and College entrance examination scores. Undergraduate students transferring from another institution must have a cumulative point average that is higher than the average student, and provide all their transcripts.

Foreign students must provide documents indicating that they have fulfilled the equivalent of the requirements listed above. They must also give evidence that they have successfully passed the TOEFL Examination.
